NICKEL POWDER, FOR P/M (Powder Metallurgy)

Grade AH50 is produced through a Carbonyl process and is spherically-shaped with a spiky morphology. Raw material is processed and tightly monitored to achieve a particle size distribution of of 3-6 microns (FSSS). Free lab samples are available on request.

NICKEL POWDER, FOR MIM (Metal Injection Molding)

Nickel Powder Grade AH440 is a spherical-shaped powder with a mottled surface, enhanced flow properties and greater density for MIM and other applications.

Nickel Powder, Hydrogen-Reduced

The OH series of Nickel Powders is produced through a hydrometallurgical process, also known as Hydrogen-Reduced or the “Sherritt-Gordon” process.  Nickel is precipitated under high pressure and temperature to create a spherical shape with a “cauliflower” surface. Hunter Chemical further processes the raw material, employing screens and other separation methods into particle size ranges for diverse applications.
